19. Yahweh said to Moses, "Say to Aaron: 'Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, rivers, canals, ponds and pools of water; and they will turn into blood. There will be blood throughout Egypt, even in vessels of wood and stone.'"

Exodus 7:17-"Thus saith the Lord," Thou shalt know that I am the Lord; behold, I have this rod in my hand I will wound the waters in the river, and become blood. " Here, God announces the first plague we will send over Egypt, transforming the waters of the Nile River into blood.

Exodus 7:22 - "Then the wizards of Egypt did the same with their enchantments; and the heart of Pharaoh hardened, and did not hear them, as the Lord had said." This verse shows how the Egyptian wizards managed to replicate the transformation of water into blood through their own enchantments, but Pharaoh was not convinced to release the Hebrews.

Exodus 7:25 - "And seven days passed after the Lord wounded the river." This verse marks the end of the first plague, and shows how God's pests were progressively getting worse and lasting longer, intensifying the pressure on Pharaoh to release the Hebrews.
