" This verse of the Gospel of John shows Jesus' care and concern with his mother and his concern to ensure that she was well cared for after her death.

Hebrews 9:28: "So Christ was also offered in sacrifice once, to take the sins of many; and will appear a second time, not to take away sin, but to bring salvation to those who await him." This verse of the Epistle to the Hebrews explains the meaning of Jesus' death as a sacrifice for our sins and the promise of his second coming to bring salvation.
