Genesis, 12

10. Now there was a famine in the land. So Abram went down to Egypt to sojourn there, for the famine was severe in the land.

Genesis 12 tells the story of how God called Abram to get out of his homeland and go to a land He would show him. This verse speaks of Abram's faith in God and how he obeyed God's orders, even without knowing where he was going. This faith is one of Abram's main features throughout the Bible.
