Ezekiel chapter 2 begins with the description of the prophet's vision of God and heavenly beings. God then calls Ezekiel to be a messenger and prophet, sent to speak to the people of Israel and warn them about their sinful conduct. Acts 20:26-27: "Therefore, on this day I declare you that I am innocent of the blood of all, for I did not fail to proclaim you all the will of God." The apostle Paul declared his faithfulness by fulfilling the mission of preaching God's Word, similar to Ezekiel's commitment to warn the people of Israel of God's will.
