26. Finally, however, Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem humbled themselves, and so Yahweh did not punish the people until after Hezekiah's death.

Romans 8:31: "What do we say, therefore, to these things? If God is for us who will be against us?" This verse talks about the certainty of victory when you trust God. Hezekiah and the people of Judah trusted God and were victorious against the Assyrian army. It is a memory that God is always on the side of his children and that nothing can defeat those who trust him.
