11. There shall be an oath between them, that he did not put forth his hand to his neighbour's goods: and the owner shall accept of the oath; and he shall not be compelled to make restitution.

Deuteronomy 24:6 - "Thou shalt not take the hand of hand or sunshine, because that would be to take the debtor's own life." This verse addresses the question of the pledge, mentioned in Exodus 22:26-27, and highlights the importance of protecting the life and subsistence means of the debtors.

Proverbs 20:10 - "Two weights, two measurements, both are abominable to the Lord." This verse deals with the question of justice and equity in the application of the law, which is a recurring theme in Exodus 22.
