Revelation, 21

2. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride dressed for her husband.

Chapter 21 of the book of Revelation talks about the New Jerusalem, the Holy City of God that descends from heaven. Isaiah 25:8: "It shall annihilate death forever, and thus wipe the Lord God the tears of all faces, and shall take away the reproach of his people from all the earth; for the Lord said." Hebrews 12:22-24: "But you have come to Mount Zion, and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to the many thousands of angels; the universal assembly and church of the firstborn, who are inscribed in heaven, and to God , the judge of all, and to the spirits of the perfected righteous; and Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and the blood of sprinkling, who speaks better than that of Abel. " This verse relates to Revelation 21:2, which talks about the descent of the New Jerusalem from heaven. Both describe the heavenly city of God and the dwelling of the saints.
