11. Three thousand men of Judah went down to the cave at the rock of Etam and said to Samson, "Do you not know that the Philistines lord it over us? Now what have you done to us?" He answered, "What they did to me, I have done to them."

Judges chapter 15 reports how Samson took revenge on the Philistines for killing his wife and his father -in -law.
