6. For the Lord is in the just generation: you have confounded the counsel of the poor man, but the Lord is his hope.

Psalm 86:7: "I invoke you on the day of my anguish, because you answer me." The psalmist trusts that God will respond to his supplication in times of anguish.

Psalm 119:50: "This is my comfort in my affliction: May your Word go gone." This verse highlights the power of God's Word as comfort and helps in times of distress.
