Deuteronomy 8:3: "He humbled you, and let you hungry, and sustained you with manna, that you did not know, nor your parents knew him; to make you imply that man will not live only bread, but that of all that comes out of the mouth of the Lord will live man. 1 Chronicles 16:8-9: "surrender thanks to the Lord, invoke His name, make known among the peoples His works. Sing, Sing Him praises, speak of all their wonders." This verse encourages people to praise God and tell their wonders to others, just as Psalm 105 does.

Isaiah 43:2: "When passing through the waters, I will be with you, and when through the rivers, they will not submerge you; when you pass through fire, you will not burn you, nor the flame will burn in you." This verse speaks of God's faithfulness to protect his people in all situations, just as He did in leading Israel through the desert and in conquering the promised land.
