2 Samuel 15 talks about Absalom's conspiracy to become king instead of David. He deceives the people, gets followers, and conquers the hearts of many Israelites. Psalm 41:9: "Even my intimate friend, whom I trusted, who ate from my bread, raised his heel against me." David regrets the betrayal of Aitofel, one of his counselors, who moved to Absalom's side and conspired against him.

" David calls for God for protection in the face of the threat represented by Absalom and his followers.

Psalm 63:1: "O God, you are my God; I will soon seek you; my soul is thirsty for you; my flesh desires you a lot in a tired dry land where there is no water." This psalm expresses David's devotion to God, even in the face of the difficulties faced in Absalom's escape.
